Welcome to the web based learning module for the GAIN Q3 MI ONT. This course serves as the launching point for your Site Interviewer certification process. Once you complete this web based learning, you will be matched with a certified trainer from within your LHIN area. That trainer will support your 3 month certification process. At the end, you will be ready to fully embed the assessment process in your day to day work with clients; allowing them to benefit from the evidence-based assessment and treatment planning process.
This course is intended for sites that are conducting their own GAIN-Q3 training. This course will demonstrate the correct way to administer the GAIN-Q3, discuss the importance of a consistent, quality Q3 administration, provide a background on basic administration rules, show how to shape a participant's behavior using given response sets, and familiarize you with some of the more nuanced portions of the assessment.
